. Wedding Rings for April and Michael at the Dreams Riviera Cancun!

April and Michael got married at the Dreams Riviera Cancun on April 7th, 2017 on a beautiful sunny day and exceptionally, not too windy.

April contacted me about a year ago when she was planning her destination wedding, a small intimate event with a very touching side to it.

The time until this day just flew by and it was wonderful to finally meet her and Michael in person!

April and Michael met during New Years Eve, 2013-2014 at Central Station, a bar in Grand Junction, Co.

“Neither of us had wanted to go out that night but my friends and his family talked us in to going (separately).  My friends and I got to the bar and were hanging out and Michael had known some of the friends I was with.  Next thing I knew, he was buying me a shot and we were kissing from one year to the next. We kept in touch after that but nothing serious came out of it.  We hung out a few times but weren’t sure if we were meant to be.

Then, In August of 2014, the biggest tragedy of my life happened.  My best friend, my first love, my Daddy was killed in a motorcycle accident. I was beyond devastated and my life crumbled before my eyes. Micheal dropped everything and was by my side through it all and saved me from going down a downward spiral.   From then on, we have been together and inseparable.  Luckily he was able to meet my father twice before he passed away and that means everything to me.

Michael proposed to me on March 12, 2016, in Downtown Denver, On a horse drawn carriage in front of Corridor 44, my favorite Champagne Bar.”

April started her getting ready at 3pm. Kristen her maid of honor and best friend Nikki did a wonderful job on her hair and make up.

The something new was a  purple anklet from her sister,

the something blue was an anklet from her mother in law,

and the something borrowed was a necklace that was her maid of honor’s mothers.

In the meantime, Michael is getting ready as well. For a groom it is always so much easier so there is time to chill… 😉

… and time to go around checking the set up at the wedding gazebo!

April is ready and she looks beautiful!

First look photos started at 4:30 pm. The ceremony time was set for 6pm so we had some time to go around the resort and take some romantic photos of them.

April’s mom gifted her with the most beautiful flower arrangement that I had ever seen, there were flowers everywhere and a huge chandelier of flowers that filled in the whole inside of the wedding gazebo.

A picture of April’s dad was placed at the ceremony site, on what would have been his chair. It was such an emotional moment for all of us.

Our little drone was there too!

Michael,

You are my love, my soul mate, my counterpart, my best friend, but most importantly, the love of my life. You make me happier than I could have ever imagined and more loved than I ever thought possible. I’ve never felt as special and as beautiful as I have since I’ve been with you. You loved me at my worst and continue loving me at my best, and because of you, I have become a better person. You showed me the light during my darkest days and you saved me from myself. Without you by my side, I don’t know that I could have made it through the biggest tragedy of my life. For your support, strength and unconditional love, I am forever thankful and grateful to you. Today, in front of our friends and family, I’d like to make a few promises to you;

I promise to be loyal to you physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I promise to continue to love you unconditionally and whole heartedly until I take my last breath.

I promise to laugh with you in the good times and struggle with you through the bad.

I promise to continue to love and cherish your children as my own and always be good to them.

I promise to stop being selfish and give up the other half of my second closet so you have room for your ever growing wardrobe.

I promise to attempt to start cooking and learning new things in the kitchen as long as YOU promise not to tell me how awful it tastes

I promise to make every day an adventure and every adventure a wonderful memory.

I look so forward to my life with you. I can’t wait to share the joys and laughs and tears with you as your wife. I am truly blessed to be a part of your life, which today becomes our life together.

I love you Michael Joel, with all of my heart, all of my soul and every ounce of my being.

April,

On this day, I give you my heart along with the promise to be patient, forgiving, loyal, faithful, and true. I will also be supportive of you, your dreams, and ambitions in life. I will stand beside you through thick and thin, and stand behind you when needed. I promise to protect and honor you at all cost. I take you April Lynn to be my wife whole heartedly, to cherish and to love until I take my last breath. Thank you for choosing me to share your life with. I love you more than Forrest loves Jenny……. Always & Forever!

Thank you so much April and Michael for having us at your wedding! We wish you all the best!
